General Terms for Skydiving Courses

2025

Prices
Skydive Oslo is a non-profit organization and therefore does not charge VAT.

Payment
A deposit fee of 4000 NOK is payable upon registration. The fee is only refundable upon failure to pass a medical examination and not in cases of exercising the right of withdrawal.

The remaining course fee must be paid after passing the medical examination, completing insurance payment, and membership in F/NLF. This must be done no later than 30 days before the course begins.

Costs in addition to the course fee include the medical examination, insurance, membership, and potential re-jumps.

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Skydive Oslo does not offer credit, and payment is required at the time of booking.

Skydive Oslo collaborates with Stripe. This means that we neither handle nor store your card details, as these are managed directly by Stripe for your security. Read more about Stripe here.

Participants Under 18 Years of Age
If the participant is under 18, both parents or legal guardians must register the minor and sign an authorization form. Download the authorization form via this link. It is important to bring the original document to the first day of the course.

The parent or guardian will then act as the contracting party with Skydive Oslo, while the minor will be listed as the course participant.

Confirmation, Payment Information, and Course-Specific Information
Confirmation, payment details, and course-specific information will be sent to the parent or guardian who completed the registration. Course-specific details and confirmation will also be sent directly to the minor participant. It is essential to provide the parent’s or guardian’s email address during registration.

AFF Training Jumps
The «Starter Package» includes 7 AFF training jumps, while the «All-Inclusive» package includes 20 AFF training jumps. If you fail one of your AFF jumps, you may reattempt it. Re-jumps are not included in the course fee; see the website for current pricing .

Course-Specific Information and Course Director Responsibility
Details about the course director responsible for the course, a description of the course, course fees, any additional costs, payment terms, and any special conditions are provided during the registration process on our website. You will also receive this information in the confirmation or along with the course invitation.

Confirmation Upon Registration
If there is availability in the course, you will receive a confirmation via email immediately after completing registration. Once you have received the confirmation, a binding agreement for the course is established, and the withdrawal period begins.

Well in advance of the course start date, but no later than 10 days before the course begins, you will receive an invitation with details about the start date, session times, and directions to the drop zone. The invitation will be sent by Skydive Oslo to the email address provided during registration.

Cancelled Course
We have 10 spots per skydiving course. If fewer than 4 people are registered for a course, the course may not proceed. Your booking will remain valid, but you will be moved to a later date that suits you. If the course is cancelled, we will notify you at least 7 days before the course start date.

Right of Withdrawal According to Remote Sales Law
You can cancel your registration within 14 days from the day you received the confirmation (withdrawal period). If you cancel during this period, we will refund the course fee you have paid, minus the registration fee of 4000 NOK.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly before the withdrawal period expires. This can be done by sending an email to elev@fallkjerm.no within 14 days from the day you received the confirmation.

After the withdrawal period has passed, you can no longer exercise the right of withdrawal.

Other Absences
Absences are not permitted during the course.

Change of Course Date
If you wish to reschedule the course date, an administrative fee of 500 NOK will be charged. A new date can be offered if there is availability. If rescheduling is due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted to the student group, and we will then offer an alternate course if spots are available.

If you wish to change the course date, contact the student group at elev@fallkjerm.no

Withdrawal from an Ongoing Course
If you choose to withdraw from an ongoing skydiving course, the course fee will remain with Skydive Oslo. This means that it is not possible to get a refund for parts of the course that you have not completed. However, you have one year (from the date of your last jump) to return and complete the course.

Withdrawal from a Planned Jump
If you choose not to exit the aircraft for the planned AFF-level jump, the cost of the jump will be charged.

Jump Account
After completing the theory course, the student will have funds in their personal jump account equivalent to the cost of either 7 AFF jumps or 20 AFF jumps, depending on the chosen course package. These funds are reserved exclusively for training jumps and may not be used for tandem jumps or conveniences such as caravan rental fees.

Changes to General Terms
Skydive Oslo reserves the right to amend these general terms.
